In 1997 Richard A. Onorato and Patrick L. Brown combined their many years of experience in the distribution of insurance and financial products to create Willow Financial Services, LLC.
Willow Financial Services has a successful history of designing specialty programs. In fact, Richard and Patrick have been designing financial services and insurance programs for the home health care, medical and dental industries, as well as for business owners and individuals for over 25 years. Willow has worked especially closely with the home health care industry, becoming associate members of the National Association for Homecare, the Homecare Association of Florida and the Texas Association for Homecare. Both Richard and Patrick have worked closely with major insurance carriers obtaining endorsements for various programs developed specifically to meet the needs of their clients. They have worked closely with CPAs, physicians, dentists, contractors, realtors, and attorneys.
In 2002, Richard A. Onorato and Patrick L. Brown completed a comprehensive course on priority senior issues and attained their Certified Senior Advisor designation. They are currently active members of the Society of Certified Senior Advisors. This designation allows Willow Financial Services to address the key needs and issues concerning small business owners as they grow older.
Richard A. Onorato, CSA
Richard A. Onorato has 30 years of experience in the insurance industry.Richard received his undergraduate degree from the University of Baltimore in Business and Marketing. After being honorably discharged from the United States Navy, he completed advanced courses at the College of Financial Planning.
Richard is also highly involved in charitable endeavors. Currently he is president of the Associated Italian American Charities of Maryland, Inc. of which he has been a member since 1983. He is also a member of the Hibernian Society of Baltimore.
Patrick L. Brown, MBA, CSA
Patrick L. Brown was the executive vice president of the small business division of USF&G, a Baltimore based insurance carrier that was purchased by St. Paul in 1997. His work for USF&G included developing the small business division and specializing in marketing products geared towards small businesses owners.
Patrick received his undergraduate and masters degree in business administration from Loyola College in Baltimore.
Patrick is currently Chairman of New Membership for the Hibernian Society of Baltimore, as well as being a member of the the Society of the Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick of Baltimore, Inc. and the Associated Italian American Charities of Maryland, Inc.
